World Bank Group begins transition from manual and cumbersome shipping processes to implementation of enterprise wide, streamlined and automated global logistics solution

[ Springfield, VA ] Global transportation enterprise management leader CMS GlobalSoft, Inc. announces today the signing of its newest transportation management solutions client, The World Bank Group (WBG), an internationally recognized, Washington DC based organization providing financial and technical assistance to developing countries throughout the world.

“The World Bank Group is a different breed of client for us because of the stringent requirements imposed when shipping out thousands of diplomatic pouches day in and day out,” says CMS GlobalSoft President & CEO Wil Fekeci. “The organization has been challenged for some time now with a manually-intensive, cumbersome shipping process compounded by multiple contractors and overlapping or fragmented shipping procedures. Our CMS WorldLink transportation management solution - an enterprise wide, browser-based and automated shipping solution is the right player to remedy this kind of inefficient logistics environment.”

CMS GlobalSoft was selected amongst various competitors who competed for the World Bank Group account. “We are proud to partner with the World Bank to automate their internal tracking and reporting systems,” says Fekeci.

CMS WorldLink is a robust, browser based multi-carrier enterprise shipping application designed to address the shipping needs of both small and large businesses. The logistics solution is equally suitable in a single warehouse environment as well as multiple distribution centers located throughout the world.
