05.21.15 CMS GlobalSoft announces distribution license agreement with FedEx for CMS Carrier Connector.
Lorton, VA | CMS GlobalSoft, Inc. announced a distribution license agreement between FedEx Corporation and CMS GlobalSoft for its product, CMS Carrier Connector, which supports an interface to either FedEx Web Services or FedEx FSMS premise-based software. “What this means,” said President Wil Fekeci, “is that customers of FedEx who want to integrate their applications into FedEx services, using an API call, can now purchase a pre-approved, certified FedEx solution. CMS Carrier Connector is really a developer’s tool designed to lessen the time required to interface directly with any carrier’s API.” Being certified by FedEx, means that a developer 1) can follow sample XML templates on the complexities of interfacing to FedEx 2) does not have to certify for each install since CMS Carrier Connector is already approved and 3) does not have to worry about changes to FedEx’s application: they will be handled by CMS Carrier Connector. “It’s really a wonderful tool for any developer who wants to integrate with carrier API’s,” stated Mr. Fekeci.
CMS GlobalSoft has previous license agreements with FedEx for two other products: CMS WorldLink and CMS Desktoplink, both being enterprise class solutions.
